TitanCon 2015 may have been our most successful year yet. The entire day ran so smoothly, no problems at all. Every panel, workshop and event found an audience who really loved and enjoyed it. We had beautiful weather on our Coach Tour. We have been so lucky and really we could not have asked for more.
One of the main goals for TitanCon 2015 was to prove that we can run a successful convention without the support of a funding grant from the Arts Council. As I'm sure many of you are aware we lost our grant in 2014 due to budget cuts at the Arts Council and as a result ended up making a significant loss that year. But I am pleased to say that we made a small profit in 2015 (and I do mean small, under £50 in fact) which gives us a lot of confidence in our plans for the future.
None of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of our incredible volunteers, our wonderful guests and everyone who attended TitanCon 2015. I can't say enough thank you's to express my gratitude to you all for coming back every year and helping to make TitanCon the wonderful little convention it is.
We would love to hear your thoughts and comments on TitanCon 2015. Tell us what you enjoyed, what was good or if you thought something could have been better then let us know how. Please fill in our feedback form.
Please sign up to the TitanCon forum where you can chat with other attendees and friends that you have met at TitanCon. Also please help spread the word about TitanCon across the Internet because the main way that we grow is by word of mouth. Tell your friends how good of a time they missed, make them super jealous and hopefully they can also join us next year. Thank you.
